Flash Fiction Challenge: Choose Your Random Words

So, I start a new job this morning, hence the early-ish post of this week’s FFC. But, I also have a some other things cooking up, so watch this space for some more updatery in the next few days.

Anyway, the Challenge. The prompt was to use three random words out of a given ten and incorporate them as aspects in the flash fiction piece. I rolled “Moon”, “Holiday”, and “Divorce”. So, I give you “Moonlight on the Pier”:
